Wii U/3DS digital release news.

Just a topic to discuss Virtual Console release news and other things being released on the eShop on 3DS and Wii U. Like for example, a good topic of discussion would be when GBA games come out on the 3DS eShop... nah, just kidding, that won't happen. :p

Today, Mega Man Battle Network was just released for Wii U VC, and Capcom has announced a few more Mega Man titles to come in the next month.

All those Mega Man games, I mean I'd be excited but I don't really buy my games digitally. Cool for those who do though.

I think I'm with Tarran when I say that Fire Emblem 7 needs to come to the American Wii Shop like it did for Japanese. Such a good game for people to try out! =(

In the last couple weeks some stuff has been added. Notable releases last week were Mega Man 5 and Super Mario Kart last week on Wii U VC. This week, we got Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge for the GBA added on Wii U VC. Still waiting on Mega Man 6 and X3 later this month.

Fire Emblem for the GBA (known as Fire Emblem 7 or Blazing Sword) is coming out on Wii U VC in Europe this week. So it's currently out in Japan and in Europe. So that's something else we haven't gotten. Still waiting on SMB Deluxe and Pokemon TCG for Game Boy Color to come to 3DS in America too. -_-

Here's a slew of upcoming digital releases on the Wii U and 3DS this week. In addition to Life Force, we are getting Mega Man 6 on Wii U today, so by process of elimination, next week we should get Mega Man X3. Nothing else sticks out too much, although I hear from a reliable source Xtreme Sports coming to 3DS VC today is actually a surprisingly fun game. The interesting thing is the free Disney Infinity. Wonder why they're releasing it free all of a sudden. Still need to buy the figures to play it though, I suppose.
